CMS/Web Developer

Location: London

Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP35,000

Our operations include innovative vacant building protection, Security and Property and Facilities management, not to mention the 69 other services we currently offer.

We provide an array of customised services to secure, monitor, manage, and maintain vacant property. Our existing clients range from Government departments to household names, be they local authorities, housing associations, project developers or commercial property managers. With over 300 Full time employees we also have been commended on multiple occasions and lead the field in our industry sector.

Requirements:

At least 3 years experience of developing in PHP

At least 3 years experience of HTML/JavaScript and CSS

At least 3 years experience of relational database development preferably MySQL

You will be able to demonstrate the importance of scalability and show how to manage rapid growth of data

You will have an excellent understanding of Object Oriented methodologies and their implementation.

Experience of content management development is a benefit as is knowledge of Amazon Web Services

You will be personable, honest, reliable and flexible

You will be a decision maker, capable of using initiative and judgement

You will be well organised, methodical and conscientious.

You will have excellent attention to detail.

You will be smart and presentable at all times.

You will be self confident and able to deal with internal staff and clients

Your tasks will primarily consist of:

Interpreting functional specifications to deliver technical specifications

Developing web page templates and CSS based on existing designs

Maintain web site functionality

Maintain technical documentation for website and CMS

Develop Back End CMS functionality based on specifications

Develop Back End database of the CMS and web site

Candidate profile

You will have ideally have completed a degree in a relevant field, although we will consider othereducational levels.

Good team player, successful through cooperation.

Good people skills, empathy.

Energetic, critical and able to deal with resistance;

Flexible, proactive, accurate.

Problem solving, efficient working.

Preferably a relevant relationship network in the London area.
