Graduate Business Transformation/Change Management Consultant

HCL help our clients undertake and manage large scale change in order to create a step change in their business performance. We are focused on achieving business outcomes and driving predictable results.

Our Transformational Change team partners with our clients to help them navigate and manage complex business change. We work with blue chip companies on major transformation initiatives that are usually underpinned by enterprise technologies such as SAP. Our practice covers all areas of managing the transformation journey from target operating model and business case development through all aspects of executing the delivery of the target operating model. In practice this includes change management strategy and planning, organisation design, stakeholder engagement and communications, and learning and development.

Our talented team have experience ranging from two years through to in excess of 20 years of consultancy, with many having a Big 4 professional services background. We operate a meritocracy and we reward dedication, team working and client partnership. We are now looking to expand our team with the addition of some exceptional graduates with a proven excellent academic results, work experience orextracurricular activities who can embody our values and develop into high-performing consultants.

We operate across all industries, working closely with the other Capabilities and Divisions within HCL to deliver exceptional results for our clients. We are focused on people and career development and are able to offer this by placing our consultants in key roles in strategic programmes for blue chip clients. All of our consultants work on all aspects of transformational change and are given opportunities to deepen their skills in each of our specialist areas. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with our consultants on client programmes to deliver defined and measurable results; these may include some or all of the following:
  • Developing, to a professional standard, documents, tools and presentations that can be delivered to clients
  • Performing detailed analysis of client change and business readiness measures
  • Developing detailed communications products to support programme communications and engagement activities
  • Developing training needs assessments and developing detailed training and support materials
  • Supporting the deployment of new roles and jobs to client staff, particularly in respect of process and technology changes to their roles Drive client delivery in support of programme objectives, under senior consultant guidance, using HCL's transformation method
  • Typically deliver this work in client facilities in mixed client/consultant teams and

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Proven high quality academic credentials - minimum 2.1 university degree
  • Demonstration of professional standards - including personal presentation, interaction and dedication
  • Flexibility - adaptable to different environments, business, cultures and types of work and also work location (an exciting aspect of our work is that our client site are located across both the UK and Europe and this may require working in those locations Monday to Friday throughout the programme lifetime)
  • Demonstration of oral and written communication skills including ability to confidently and articulately present to awide range of people or groups.
  • Self-starter, able to quickly pick up new skills and learn from experienced professionals and both work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT).

Preferred, but not required:

  • European language skills
  • Relevant work experience
