As a member of a tight-knit Trading Support team, you will manage order management and market data delivery systems involving every major electronic exchange and asset class for this high-performing and prestigious electronic trading firm based in the City. This role would also suit and provide a step-up for accomplished Application Support and Production Support engineers.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Working with traders and developers
- Providing timely L1 and L2 support for production trading systems
- Devising ways to architect and develop solutions
- Systems monitoring and health checks of the system and application environment
- Serving as the primary technical contact for a range of non-technical users
You will ideally have at least five years of experience in a trading environment along with:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong Scripting skills in Perl/Python, Bash or similar in a Linux/Unix environment
- SQL and general database troubleshooting and optimisation
