SQL Server DBA (SQL, Database Administrator, SQL Server, SQL Profiler)
SQL Server Database Administrator required by Whitehall Resources for an established Consultancy to provide Project implementation and support services within a Managed Service team across a range of financial and insurance based clients.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of SQL Server technologies they have experienced with and an awareness of other SQL Server technologies they've yet had the opportunity to work with.
Essential skills:
Proven experience as a Microsoft SQL Server DBA (2000, 2005, 2008, 2008 R2 and 2012)
Experience of installing and configuring Microsoft SQL Server RDBMS across versions and platforms
Experience and knowledge with Windows Operating Systems
Experience of SSAS and SSRS
Database mirroring and clustering skills
Experience performing Backup and recovery maintenance/support
Good communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
Nice to have:
Accredited DBA Qualification
