My Telford based client is currently seeking a permanent IT Technical Security Manager to join their business. You will lead a team of IT Security Analysts/Consultants to ensure that the IT Security objectives of the business are met. You will be responsible for ensuring the production environment is protected from internal and external unauthorised access to data and information through Real Time monitoring and altering.

The IT Technical Security Manager will have in depth IT Security knowledge and experience ideally holding relevant IT Security qualifications, such as CISSP or CISM. You will have experience in leading a technical team setting direction aligned to business and IT strategies.

This is a management role but the ideal candidate will be able to lead the team by also being technically hands on in carrying out IT Security tasks. You will have excellent communication skills and be used to dealing with all levels of management, be highly motivated and be able to lead a team.
