Liferay Developer - 6-month contract

We have a new contract role in South West England for a Liferay developer to work on a major project for our client.

The role is for a 6-month period initially but could well be extended - or made permanent. To be considered you must have real expertise in developing Liferay portals and you should have 5-10 years development experience. Ideally you should have good understanding and experience of software architecture too.

Any experience with Weblogic integration would be useful as there is another project involving a Weblogic migration - but again, don't worry if you haven't used it - they have the resource to cover that project - it's your Liferay experience that is most important.

Experience in XML (Schema, XPath, XQuery and XSLT), HTTP, CSS, HTML, Javascript, SOAP, REST and SQL are required.

You should be a good communicator capable of working well as part of a small team. You will be working on-site for this role - the client will not consider remote working.
