A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Python/DevOps engineer to join well established blue chip organisation based at their prestigious offices in Reading.

As a Python/DevOps engineer you will be responsible for:

Translating requirements and user stories into design specifications and solid code.
Creating system/application monitors and associated auto remediation scripts
Develop Monitoring solutions for applications, custom plugins/checks, continually upgrade coverage terms Implementing automated tests, automated deployments, and operational tools.
Working closely and collaboratively with local and distributed teams.
Overseeing/participating in automation of application in Windows, Linux Systems (primarily CentOS), Apache, MySQL, Python, DB, Network latency, etc.
Evaluating and integrate with open source technologies

As a Python/DevOps engineer you will have the following Qualifications:

. Bachelor's Degree and/or proven relevant experience
. Significant experience of professional engineering and coding experience in Python (preferred), C++, or Java.
* Experience working in an Agile environment.
* Experience with Puppet, Splunk, Atlassian product suite, Zabbix, Python, ActiveMQ, Couchbase and NoSQL technologies is a plus
* Contribution and Experience with OpenStack is a plus
