Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Java Developer/Lead Developer to be based in their Leeds office.

The role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for Developers to work with the best Java Specialists in the country, working on a range of projects, from Research and Development, through to major new product development, launch and enhancements. Our clients products are built on modern cutting edge platforms such as Lucene and Hadoop.

Experience required:
Extensive Java Development
Experienced in developing using Agile methods, Source Control, Continuous Integration, Spring, Eclipse and Maven.
Any of the following: Hibernate, Spring/MVC, Spring Integration, MySQL, Oracle, Lucene, Hadoop, Multi-threading, Networking (HTTP, TCP, UDP etc), SANs and distributed storage, HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, performance tuning, Linux.

Additional Information:
Candidates must be eligible to obtain an SC Security Clearance - this requires candidates to be a permanent resident of the UK and to have been in the UK for at least 5 years.
