Arcsight Associate - Guildford - 3 months Contract

Our client, a leading FTE 100 consultancy is looking to recruit an Arcsight SME to focus on the design and development of the technical environment encompassing the technical solutions of our clients Managed Security Services business.

You will join an energetic and experienced Architecture team as a design and development specialist. This work will focus on the design of technical architecture around our clients core solution stack which consists of ArcSight, Hadoop CA Service Desk and Solarwinds.

Your day to day activities will include involvement in client deployments in service transition phases in addition to the planning and execution of continuous service improvement activities.

You will be responsible for planning, developing, maintaining and design models, performing technical evaluations, and performing key delivery milestones. You will be required to ensure that all solutions are thoroughly thought through, taking into account not just the technology aspect but also the service aspects, ensuring that the design comes together as a fully coherent solution carefully targeted at meeting the business need.

Our client is looking for the following skills and experience:

Experience in the field of IT security

Experience of designing and implementing solutions utilising HP ArcSight SIEM toolset

Knowledge of infrastructure and networks

Demonstrable skills across multiple platforms, technologies and operating systems

5 years IT experience in a service or project delivery function

Excellent documentation skills with sound design knowledge (eg SysML, BPEL, BPMN)

Knowledge of databases, SQL and NoSQL

Knowledge of the engineering life cycle from requirements management to system testing

Demonstrable trouble-shooting skills

Experience of technical certifications across a broad number of security and/or network products (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, FireEye, WebSense, Bluecoat, etc) would be desirable.
