We are sourcing a Site Transition Project Manager for the Air Traffic Management team based in Whitely, Hampshire. This role is pivotal to the delivery of programmes across a number of years for retained customers.The purpose of this role is to provide Project Management leadership to ensure the successful delivery and installation of airfield systems across a large number of airfields. The role will require overall project management rigour, change control, commercial awareness & stakeholder management to complement the existing technical management skills within the team.

Key Responsibilities:


• Facilitate Project Execution across multiple sites (UK and Overseas)
• Support the management of both Risk and Opportunities
• Facilitate Project Planning
• Report to Thales PMO on the progress and performance of the project
• Manage sub-contractors, ensuring flowthrough of customer requirements

• Manage a nd m otivate project team
• Manage all project stakeholders; ensuring strong communications are established

• Ensure adherence to the PMO Project Management Plan
• Ensure resource plan is fully maintained, and highlight any a dditional needs

• Support Project Management Office to ensure appropriate p roject g overnance


Skills

• Experience of working and managing projects within a matrix style organisation
• Delivery-focused balanced with recognising the need for governance
• Ability to establish and meet deadlines, multi-task and prioritise
• Strong communicator and negotiator
• Strong planning and delivery orientation
• Knowledge of airfield systems and environment.
• Experience working with civil engineering sub-contractors.
