Join Thales as a Quality Assurance Engineer to provide project quality and supplier management ensuring the successful delivery of software intensive systems to customers. You will manage and analyse reports to continually improve quality within different projects ensuring the quality performance is managed and reported to help meet project deadlines. This will include a strategy to improve the quality of output by demonstrating a reduction in non-conformance, improving right first time levels and ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented to ensure problems do not reoccur.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and measure quality requirements reporting on corrective and preventive actions
• Identify best practice that will be shared across the programme
• Constantly maintain a high quality of information exchange with the customer
• Adopt new working methods when necessary and look for sustainable improvement of practices and processes
• Manage the budget reporting of financial data to senior management team.
Skills, qualifications and experience
• Experience managing quality in a project environment
• Experience implementing, analysing and leading development of improved processes, methods and tools
• A high level of communication skills, you will experience dealing with both technical and non technical people at all levels of the organisation
• Member of Chartered Quality Institute would be advantageous
• Engineering/ business degree or equivalent
