• Ensuring the timely and accurate production of the design deliverables mapped to the requirements
• Ensuring that approval through appropriately delegated and competent authority for all engineering documentation and deliverables including specifications, designs, reports, analysis, code and equipment can be achieved and that all designs developed by the project have been produced by competent designers and subject to competent design check and approval
• Supporting the Programme Director in the management of change, variation, risk and opportunity
• Validating the engineering delivery progress and support the accurate measurement of progress on the project
• Managing design teams in remote locations whether in the UK or abroad, by strong Work Package Management control
• Being analytical about the whole process, to be always looking to continually improve: the on time delivery, cost of quality, cost of non-quality and rework.
