Software Test & Integration Engineer - Long Crendon , Aylesbury

We are recruiting for a Software Test & Integration Engineer to join our dynamic and highly capable engineering team, working for the global number one provider of cryptographic security systems based in our Long Crendon office. The Test Engineer will join a team working on information security development projects for high profile customers, developing leading security solutions. The Test Engineer will be involved in the development of integration and verification test suites on a range of modern computing platforms, well supported throughout by training programs and mentoring schemes.
The Role:
• Participate in the creation of a growing portfolio of products that already includes a diverse range of Information Security solution
• Design and develop sub-system/system test suites to verify product requirements are fully satisfied
• Work within established processes and procedures to assure the functionality, integrity and robustness of all software deliverables and to be proactive in reporting progress, risks and issues
• Contribute to the writing of project documentation, provide input to and review of user documentation, technical application notes and training material
• Contribute to the generation of reliable estimates of task duration and evaluation activities
• Participate in code and design reviews
Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
Essential
• The ability to prioritise, manage own workload, be flexible, work under pressure and to demanding deadlines.
• A First or Second class degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Electronic Engineering or other relevant disciplines.
Experience in at least one of the following:
• Automated API testing.
• A good working knowledge of programming in C#, Java or Python
Desirable
• Cryptography and information security techniques
• Security Certification, specifically Common Criteria
• Experience using Fitnesse test framework.
