Join our air traffic management systems engineering team in Crawley and you will work on a variety of projects, from implementing minor changes through to ensuring ours products evolve to meet constantly changing customer needs. This position will challenge your skills and you will have the flexibility to mould the role to suit your strengths and career development interests.
Key responsibilities
• Requirements management and translating user requirements into system requirements for our software, hardware and network developers
• Proposing cost-effective solutions to meet customer requirements
• Reviewing and validating the solutions proposed by others
• Ensure satisfactory technical performance of air traffic management systems by participating in document and design reviews, testing and integration and configuration control.
Skills, qualifications and experience
• Experience in a systems engineer role and a solid understanding of requirements management
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build good relationships both internally and externally
• The experience or willingness to move into other areas such as software development or project management to help ensure the project is delivered on time
• An engineering degree or equivalent qualification of experience.
