Today that is represented in our key role delivering the Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carrier and our provision of advanced radio equipment to all of the Royal Navy's surface combatants.
As the Bid and Project Manager you will enable the expansion of our product offering into new regions and services through the leadership of bid teams in the submittal of winning proposals.
Key responsibilities
• Using your excellent communication and organising skills you will deliver successful bids into key areas of growth
• Managing the customer relationship
• Applying effective risk and opportunity management to bids
• Managing a diverse group subcontractors and suppliers
• Understanding and ensuring compliance with security and export control regulations
Skills, qualifications and experience
• Tenacity, resilience and tact in the face of unsuccessful blocks and challenging circumstances
• You will have a Successful track record in winning bids and delivering projects
• Ability to lead and motivate within a matrix structure, managing the requirements of multiple-stakeholders
• Delivery focused to achieve agreed budget, schedule, compliance and quality commitments
• A winning mentality
