Coles Solicitors Ltd is a leading North Yorkshire legal practice who are now seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner (Solicitor / Legal Executive / Licensed Conveyancer) to join their growing team.

Coles Solicitors have offices across North and East Yorkshire from Settle in the west to Beverley in the East and Yarm in the North. The practice currently undertakes a variety of work including residential conveyancing, litigation, personal injury, private client and family matters.

We are looking for a Fee Earner with at least 3 years experience of dealing with their own caseload of residential conveyancing cases including:-

• Sales and Purchases

• Freehold and Leasehold properties

• Transfers of Equity

• Re-mortgages

• Sales on Deceased Estate properties

• All stages from first instruction through to post completion

The successful candidate will also demonstrate an enthusiasm for business development work across our practice's geographical area. We are most of all seeking someone who is positive, personable and proactive.

The Fee Earner will be assisted by a secretary and the ideal candidate will have experience of managing their own secretary/assistant's workload.

We are seeking a Fee Earner who will confidently managing their own workload with minimal supervision, and will be able to build upon their previous background of property experience. The successful Fee Earner will possess excellent interpersonal skills, being able to communicate both verbally and written to all levels, have exemplary organisational skills, a professional attitude, be able to work independently but also be at ease within a team.

Salary:- GBP25,000 - GBP30,000 pro rata

Hours :- We are ideally seeking a full time candidate (35 hours per week Monday - Friday) but will consider part-time hours for the right applicant

Base:- Market Weighton / Beverley (with travelling to all offices in the practice as and when necessary)

Holidays: 24 days plus Bank Holidays
