: Job Details Enfield Council Apprenticeships SALARY : GBP120 - GBP150 per week HOURS: 36 per week WORKING PATTERN: Full time (inclusive of block/day release for college attendance) CONTRACT LENGTH: 12 months Enfield Council is currently looking for young people to join our Apprenticeship Scheme which has recruited 100 apprentices in the last year. We are recruiting Apprentice positions in various sectors such as; Business Administration, Social Care, Marketing, Customer Service and Lighting Technician . This is a great opportunity for individuals committed to gaining skills and knowledge whilst working and studying towards a qualification.   • Be a resident of the borough of Enfield,
  • Be aged 16 - 24
  • Currently not be in education or employment or training
  • Be willing and able to study at QCF Level 2
  • Ideally have achieved GCSE grades A - D or equivalent in Maths and English or
  • Pass our basic Literacy and Numeracy Assessment (Level 1 Minimum)
  • Be motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated to achieving results and high standards

Most of our apprentices go on to employment or an advanced apprenticeship within the council. All available posts will be located at various locations within Enfield Council. For all posts you will be required to study for a level 2 or 3 qualification whilst working full time. You will be allowed paid time off to attend college. We require all of our apprentices to:
  • Maintain good attendance at work and college
  • Be able to demonstrate good time-keeping both at the start of the day and during breaks
  • Understand and work within the council's rules and instructions
