Senior Software Engineer

.NET Web Developer - C# - Leeds - GBP35,000-GBP42,000 D.O.E

A .NET Web Developer with at least 3 years of experience is sought after by a sector-leading organisation delivering first class web-based solutions.

They are looking for an organised and competent Web Developer to produce and maintain web solutions to meet and contribute to all aspects of the development.

Overall Purpose: The role holder will primarily be working with Front End code, Back End code, CMS, and databases.

The ideal candidate will have commercial knowledge and experience of .NET web development using C#, ASP and SQL Server, and general object-orientated programming concepts.

Anyone with MVC experience would be highly desirable.

Essential Skills:

Working experience of using web technologies including: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET, C#, IIS 7, Microsoft SQL.

Good understanding and ability to produce object-orientated programming relational database solutions.
Experience writing technical documentation.

Experience of working towards tight deadlines and to manage priorities, with good personal organisation and time management skills.

Desirable Skills:

Ability to work in an Agile SCRUM environment.
Experience with version and source control software, such as Microsoft Team Foundation Server.
Experience with AJAX, MVC, HTML 5 and Microsoft Office.
