.NET Developer - VB.NET, ASP.NET, Web Services, SQL Server

.NET Developer with skills in web application development using VB.NET/C#, ASP.NET, Web Services, and SQL Server required by market leading manufacturing company in Hull, East Yorkshire.

Permanent - GBP35,000 to GBP45,000 per annum basic salary plus benefits including pension, 25 days holiday, and health cover

The .NET Developer will work within a small team and will be involved in the development of greenfield and brownfield projects in the implementation, migration and upgrade of web based business systems, using cutting edge Microsoft and proprietary development technologies. The client is a market leader in their industry and is looking to hire an experienced developer with the ability to interact with business users, provide analysis and capture requirements

The successful .NET Developer will have an unrivalled opportunity to gain experience with cutting edge application development software, taking a key role in performing analysis, requirements gathering, development and testing.

The ideal Developer is ambitious, hungry to learn, passionate about technology, and will possess more than 4 years' experience in software development.

Skills required:

• 4+ years' experience in .NET Development, using VB.NET and/or C#
• ASP.NET web application development experience
• Commercial experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Web Services
• SQL Server
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to capture requirements from non-technical business users

Desirable:

• Experience in designing and developing applications within a manufacturing environment

The client site is based in Hull with free on-site parking. The office is easily commutable from Hull, Scunthorpe, York, Doncaster and the surrounding areas of East Yorkshire.
