Our Client, a prestigious group within Retail, is seeking an in house Recruitment & HR Advisor to join their internal team based in Cardiff.

Currently they are seeking an individual who has excellent interpersonal skills and the confidence to deal with people at Senior Management / Director Level. The new Recruitment & HR Advisor will play a key role in the Human Resources Head Office department, with a focus on areas such as management of all recruitment processes, HR support, recruiting and interviewing potential job candidates as well as speaking with managers and understanding what their skills needs may be and ensuring all the correct paperwork is in place for each vacancy through to offer.

As Recruitment & HR Advisor your key duties will include:

-Provide support and advice to the Head of Departments as appropriate

-Search for Candidates

-Maintaining up to date records for the HR Department.

-Undertake duties when required as directed by the HR Manager and HR Director.

-Pro-actively search for potential candidates using social media, job websites, job centres and agencies. Posting adverts where applicable.

-Be the first point of contact for applicants for roles that have been advertised. Send, receive and record applications and ensure that they are complete and comply with recruitment requirements.

-Assist in the delivery of an effective service in relation to pre-interview screening, testing and any assessments as required including providing an initial screening for all candidates ensuring that the identified essential criteria are met in accordance with legislative requirements

-Ensure that all candidates are legally compliant, i.e. have the right to work in the UK

-Conduct an initial telephone interview with all selected candidates and ensure all feedback is recorded and passed onto managers as necessary.

-Arrange face to face interviews with candidates and the Head of Departments.

-Liaise with Head of Department and candidates, manage offers and rejections and provide feedback

-Co-ordination of theVRF process

-Undertake any pre-employment checks, i.e. credit checks etc.

-Gather all required paperwork for successful candidate ahead of making an offer of employment

To become their new Recruitment & HR Advisor you must have the following skills and experience:

-Solid Recruitment Background (In house Retail recruitment will be and advantage)

-Experience undertaking confidential work in a sensitive manner

-Familiar with HR procedures/ processes

-Computer literate, using Microsoft packages and database systems, including data entry

-Effective organisation skills

-Well articulate with effective communication skills, both written and oral with attention to detail

-Resourceful and self motivated

-Ability to work alone as part of a team
