Head of Operations

Role Description

This role is responsible for building, developing and directing the Data Operations and Client Operations group.

• Build collaborative internal and external relationships to provide the best in client service, and work closely with the business to ensure a seamless experience for the client
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the client in delivering all products and solutions tailored to the needs and circumstances of clients
• Oversee all aspects of client on-boarding experience
• Liaise with Pre Sales and Integration to ensure a seamless and effective integration for buy-side and sell-side clients
• Develop and manage a global team
• Establish and maintain effective partnerships
• Develop and manage Operations budget, contract management and expenses
• Manage staff recruiting, staff development, training, retention, performance and forward looking staffing needs

Skills & Expertise

• Expert knowledge of capital markets, covering subjects such as client onboarding and industry regulatory requirements (e.g., KYC/AML requirements, FATCA, Dodd-Frank)
• Strong communication skills with individuals at all levels, internally and externally
• Ability to build relationships with clients and internal partners and influence others without direct control
• Able to identify innovative solutions to best serve client and/or manage risk
• Establishes and consistently uses a disciplined process to manage time; uses time strategically to accomplish business objectives
• Candidates with strong previous client operations skills strongly preferred
• Some travel required
• 5 years' experience in client operations or other related experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
