Lyreco, a leader in their field, offering products and services to large corporate businesses across the UK and the globe. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regional Sales Manager to join their ‘solution based’ Sales Division, working with B2B customers of various sizes.

The salary is dependent on previous experience ranging from £50-60k basic, an OTE of an additional £12k, uncapped over-achievement bonus + full corporate benefits package. You will be ideally located in Belfast, Edinburgh, Glasgow or Dublin and within a close proximity to an airport, as the role necessitates coverage of Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland.

The main objective of our Regional Sales Manager is to lead and drive the Field Sales Division forwards within a competitive business environment, to ensure the business area develops and grows in line with company goals. You will have direct responsibility for the Sales Management team, ensuring they lead and manage their teams of Sales Executives to deliver profitable results and meet the overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities as our Regional Sales Manager

- Direct responsibility for typically 8–10 Area Sales Managers and in-direct responsibility of up to 80 Field Sales staff. Ensuring the Area Sales Managers lead and manage their teams of Sales Executives to deliver profitable results and meet the overall business objectives.

- Effectively ‘performance manages’ direct reports to meet and exceed sales targets.

- Driving forward new business initiatives and increase existing business penetration, from a ‘top level’ perspective.

- Manage overall budgets, including headcount and spend.

- Work closely with the Field Sales Director to plan the sales force strategy and tactics in accordance with the business goals and objectives.

- Achievement of sales, margin and new business targets across the region.

- Consistently demonstrate and encourage behaviour which drives high levels of commitment, motivation and performance in pursuit of business objectives and the company’s values.

- Develop and maintain effective communications with all internal departments.

- Ensure recruitment is proactively managed throughout the region, in accordance with budgeted headcount levels.

- Maintain up to date knowledge of the Workplace Solution industry and awareness of corporate direction.

Qualifications and Experience needed to become our Regional Sales Manager

- Significant experience of leading a team of sales people in a B2B environment, great leadership skills, always seeking to bring out the best in others.

- Develops excellent business relationships at all levels of contact.

- Pro-active and strategic in approach, recognises and considers the bigger picture.

- Effective communication through verbal and written Medias and experience of presenting and motivating large audiences.

- In-depth understanding of the principles of effective ‘People Management’.

- An outstanding record of sales against target in both a sales capacity and through the management of a sales team.

- Demonstrable experience of managing change to successful outcomes.

- Complete and thorough understanding of business finances, profit and loss.

- High level of IT skills across Microsoft Office and internal sales management systems.
