Compliance Manager (NCS) - National Youth Charity

National Citizen Service is a personal and social development programme for young people aged 16-17. The NCS Trust has awarded our client, a national youth charity, and their partner, a national youth volunteering charity, a multi-million pound contract to deliver NCS across the North East of England and maintain quality whilst achieving significant growth throughout the contract period, from autumn 2015 – summer 2018.

Compliance Manager
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne 
Contract: Fixed term contract to June 2018
Salary: circa £30,000 per annum

The Compliance Manager will work in close collaboration with key partners to establish best practice in NCS delivery and will work with established internal Quality Assurance Management teams to develop and expand effective capabilities across the North East region.

Working closely with the Contract Director and designated subcontractors, the post holder will lead on quality assurance and contract compliance across a complex and dispersed delivery environment as well as tracking programme delivery and contractual compliance.

To be successful in the role you will be educated to degree level or equivalent with a recognised programme management qualification. You will need senior programme management experience with a complex delivery chain. Experience of establishing a new programme office, including determining, designing and developing processes and supporting system. This will include establishing and maintaining risk registers. You will need a sound understanding of contract management, payment by results and commissioning within the voluntary sector with a sound knowledge of quality assurance processes.
