Hospital Profile
The Fields is a specialist residential home made up of 7 separate units, for up to 55 adults with learning disabilities who may also have additional complex needs. The Fields provides a longer term placement for adults who require a supportive home, with round the clock care.
Job Profile
We are currently seeking motivated and passionate individuals to join our Nursing team. Working with our patients, you will be encouraged to contribute to, and influence the development of active care. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you must be able to show initiative, demonstrating clear decision making and organisational skills.
In addition, you will provide a homely & safe environment that meets patients individual needs, to provide guidance and support in assisting the promotion of self-help, personal life skills and emotional awareness and act as a positive role model within the team. You must be able to demonstrate good clinical practice, carrying out observations, investigations and treatments as required.
Candidate Profile
Candidates should possess the relevant nursing qualification - RNLD/RMN/RGN and have an active pin number. Individuals should have an excellent working knowledge of the Mental Health Act and to be able to demonstrate the latest understanding of nursing practices. You should also be a strong team player, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and organisational skills.
