My client in Guildford (Surrey) work to help people with drug and alcohol dependence, both in prison and in the community.
The Role
- Reporting to the Head of Business Development, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparing PQQ's and working collaboratively with key stakeholders within the organisation
- Assisting the Bid Team, who are responsible for preparing responses to a wide variety of individual client requirements as well as framework tenders.
- Working under the overall guidance of a Bid Manager, the Bid Executive will assist with co-coordinating and producing responses to bids and undertaking various presentations and research where necessary
- Support the Bid Manager to complete and deliver all bid related tasks.
- Preparing Tender Quality Submissions and work alongside the Head of Development and the Finance team to ensure these are prepared within deadlines.
- Attending meetings with Heads of Services when required
- Gathering together general information to support bid development
- Attend presentations when required
The Person
Essential experience includes:
- Experience of successful bid writing, contracting and tendering
- Experience of tendering for NHS contracts
- Experience of budgeting and budget management
- Evidence of continued professional development.
- Excellent written English skills
- A methodical approach with good attention to detail
- Able to communicate at all levels of the business
- Strong organisational and administration skills
