London is the headquarters of Glencore's oil business which includes Glencore UK the trading of various products including oil and gas. Glencore also has upstream investments in oil production.

This is a commercial and financial role at management level that will require the Corporate Planning Manager to co-ordinate and communicate the budget and forecasting process across multiple teams and departments, particularly as it relates to Glencore's operated onshore production operations in Chad.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for managing and developing the Exploration and Production budgeting and forecasting process, including co-ordination of the annual business plan and budget process, liaising with other function groups within the Exploration and Production organisation (ie Operations, Development Planning and Exploration) in both business unit and head office countries, analysing budget and business plan input data for consistency and accuracy and developing management presentations to deliver key messages to senior management. You will also be managing regular and ad hoc re-forecasting/valuation exercises including analysing and interpreting asset valuation metrics (including NPV/IRR) and working with the broader Finance group to ensure accurate integration of monthly financial results with remaining forecast periods. You will be ensuring consistent and accurate budget/forecast data is disseminated across the EP organisation and correctly applied to all business units and management reporting and,anaging and developing the Corporate Planning and Budget team

SKILLS, QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

- A Bachelor degree or above in a relevant Engineering discipline is required.

- Significant relevant experience is required;

- Experienced project manager and manager of a team

- Highly organised, detail orientated with a high level of attention to detail

- Understanding and knowledge of oil production sharing contracts - highly desirable

- Relevant industry experience working on projects in West and Central Africa - desirable
