Person Specification
To be successful, you will be inventive KS2 SEN Teacher who has some experience of teaching children with Special Educational Needs and can deliver motivational lessons that will inspire pupils. The right applicant will have a good command of the classroom and the authority required to handle challenging behaviour. Each member of staff should encourage their pupils to develop their speaking and listening skills through consistent use of an auditory/oral approach. The aim is to give each of their pupils a high quality, personalised educational experience that equips them for a full and fulfilling role in society.

About the Role
They teach a broad and balanced curriculum with emphasis on meeting the needs of each child. Their pupils are taught in small groups and class sizes are normally up to a maximum of 8. In this KS2 SEN Teacher post you will be teaching one of the classes within KS2 depending your own skills and experience. In this post you will be assuring the Teaching Assistant is working well in you class and contributing to calibre of the education. You will be given a place on a prestigious CPD programme, well known for its impressive results and thanks to an investment in teaching resources the school can now boast an outside learning area;. As a KS2 SEN Teacher you will be honing your preparation and classroom practice alongside a helpful, supportive Parallel teacher who has been deemed outstanding in practice.
