Systems Integrator - Leeds

My client, a large retail organisation is currently looking for a highly motivated Systems Integrator based in Leeds on a permanent basis to join their pioneering development team.

In this role you will be responsible for producing and overseeing the implementation of Low Level Designs, ensuring that our new and updated systems meet the defined business requirements, functionally and non-functionally, based on the High Level Designs produced by the Solutions Architect.

Essential skills:
Understanding of APIs/API design (ideally including RESTful). At least a basic understanding of integration tools and standards.

Desirable:
Java, JMS, dealing with Back End systems and significant amounts of data
Experience of design, develop and testing of SOAP or RESTful services using Java, or PHP or other
JavaScript - possibly frameworks such as AngularJS, Backbone.js.
Experience in using XML, schemas, transformations, WSDLs, JSON
Exposure to using web service tools to debug web services and to create automated tests

Ideally, I am looking for someone with a development background (which could be Full Stack Web, PHP or Java) looking to move into a role in Architecture whilst remaining hands on to some degree, also potentially a software architect or applications architect looking for a new challenge.
