KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Managing the weekly and monthly contractor payroll
- Managing monthly staff payroll
- Managing Payroll Administrator
- Raising weekly and monthly sales invoices and associated administration
- Efficient and effective handling of all payroll queries and invoicing queries
- Raising of any necessary credit notes
- Administration of Safe Tempest pay/bill system
- Maintaining overseas withholding tax responsibilities
- End of year tax reporting
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers
- Manage the weekly payroll, ensuring all contractors are paid accurately and on time to ensure contractor satisfaction
- Manage the staff payroll, ensuring all staff are paid accurately and on time to ensure staff satisfaction
- Manage Payroll Administrator, to include objective setting, monthly reviews, bi-annual appraisals and personal development plan
- To raise client invoices accurately and on time to ensure client satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records to ensure company complies with all legislative matters including AWR, RTI and Auto Enrolment.
- Ensure all business deadlines are met in order to meet business goals as directed by the Finance Manager/Managing Director.
- Successful Management of key initiatives and projects to meet company goals
- Utilise strong Excel skills to provide detailed analysis of contractor payroll and any other ad-hoc data required.
Skills required:
- Proven Payroll Manager with payroll and billing experience within a recruitment consultancy, particularly within a contractor/temporary environment.
- Experience of Tempest, is a distinct advantage
- Advanced level Excel skills
- Supervisory/people management experienced is desired.
