KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Managing the weekly and monthly contractor payroll
  • Managing monthly staff payroll
  • Managing Payroll Administrator
  • Raising weekly and monthly sales invoices and associated administration
  • Efficient and effective handling of all payroll queries and invoicing queries
  • Raising of any necessary credit notes
  • Administration of Safe Tempest pay/bill system
  • Maintaining overseas withholding tax responsibilities
  • End of year tax reporting

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers
  2. Manage the weekly payroll, ensuring all contractors are paid accurately and on time to ensure contractor satisfaction
  3. Manage the staff payroll, ensuring all staff are paid accurately and on time to ensure staff satisfaction
  4. Manage Payroll Administrator, to include objective setting, monthly reviews, bi-annual appraisals and personal development plan
  5. To raise client invoices accurately and on time to ensure client satisfaction
  6. Maintain accurate records to ensure company complies with all legislative matters including AWR, RTI and Auto Enrolment.
  7. Ensure all business deadlines are met in order to meet business goals as directed by the Finance Manager/Managing Director.
  8. Successful Management of key initiatives and projects to meet company goals
  9. Utilise strong Excel skills to provide detailed analysis of contractor payroll and any other ad-hoc data required.

Skills required:

  • Proven Payroll Manager with payroll and billing experience within a recruitment consultancy, particularly within a contractor/temporary environment.
  • Experience of Tempest, is a distinct advantage
  • Advanced level Excel skills
  • Supervisory/people management experienced is desired.
