Care Service Manager - Glasgow - GBP25-26k per annum

Our client a national care provider who provide care and support for service users with Learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health, autism and acquired brain injury and are seeking an experienced Care Service Manager for the expanding and challenging services in the Glasgow North, and South Lanarkshire. The job will be based in Kilmarnock for 2 days weekly and this role does offer flexibility in terms of start and end times daily.

You will need to have already achieved an NVQ/SVQ 5, NVQ/SVQ 4 or equivalent and have worked in a similar environment for a minimum of 3-4 years. You will need to be a car driver and have knowledge of the area this vacancy is within. You will also need excellent communication skills and develop business further by liaising with care managers, commissioning and contract teams, the NHS, GP services and external agencies. You will be supporting services to service users in supported living accommodation where you will be promoting an enabling environment, person centred care and planning, service user led support while ensuring high standards of professional practice while ensuring full compliance. You will manage a team of supportive staff ensuring all feel well supported and valued, your role will be to monitor and lead your team in a confident and professional manner while looking to develop staff further with training and career enhancement.

Our client is looking to recruit an approachable, motivated and positive manager who has strong leadership skills, who can manage change and who is well organised and quality care focused. Business development skills are also required as are experience with KPI's, good IT skills, staff recruitment and staff supervisions. This challenging and varied senior role would suit a deputy LD manager working in a similar environment, or a referral and assessment manager who may be looking for the next career move with an expanding, national quality focused care provider who are forward thinking and a leader in the field of supported living and care.
