Web Developer (PHP, HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript)

This is an exciting opportunity to extend your skills to the next level by working on an international cloud service product: MacMate. You’ll learn new skills and will be able to hone your existing skills as well as make valuable and permanent contributions to an amazing multi-million dollar product.
The role
As Web Developer, you will assess the needs of customers and businesses by planning a feature in an Agile environment and releasing it to market, improving features iteratively.
You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining new and existing business web applications employing PHP, JavaScript, CSS, SASS, MySQL and HTML5 technologies. Working practices you will be employing include TDD (test driven development), continuous integration and distributed version control via GIT.
Mentoring support and external training will be provided to aid the growth of your skills where required.
What you’ll need
• A degree level qualification in Web Application Development or a programming oriented degree with 2 years+ industry experience.
• A competent knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, SASS and JavaScript.
• Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Object Orientated Programming, including the major design patterns.
• Knowledge of an Agile development approach would be beneficial.
• Familiarity with GIT, GRUNT, PHPUnit and the basic elements of web design and usability would be ideal.
• Mac and Linux systems knowledge would also be advantageous.
