Employment Engagement Officer

BVSC is the Lead and Accountable body for three of the Big Lottery Fund’s
Fulfilling Lives programmes,Talent Match,Ageing Better and Birmingham
Changing Futures Together.Talent Match seeks to support young unemployed disadvantaged people aged between 18 and 24years. Ageing Better aims to help reduce social isolation amongst older people in Birmingham.  Birmingham Changing Futures Together will be working with service users and organisations to shape how services are delivered to vulnerable people.

We are currently recruiting for the following role:
EMPLOYMENT ENGAGEMENT OFFICER
(Talent Match)
£27,924 to £29,558 per annum • 35 hours per week
Based at 138 Digbeth, Birmingham, B5 6DR

The purpose of the role is to establish and maintain new employer links to enable paid employment placements for young adults.You will have experience of developing and maximising business opportunities within
the private, statutory and voluntary sector.Weare looking for some one who
has a good understanding of the local labour market and is an excellent
communicator.You will be committed to supporting employers to develop
positive perceptions and experiences of young adults in today’s job market.
