Engineering Trainer

Due to recent success and expansion, a role has come up for an experienced Technical Trainer to join the team in Livingston.

The main purpose of the role is to conduct training programs in order to strengthen new and existing employees technical and interpersonal development, as well as to monitor the effectiveness of the training provided.

Key responsibilities are;

• deliver classroom based training to new and existing employees
• improve on and re-design existing training courses
• follow all ISO and departmental procedures
• define appropriate learning objectives
• run mechanical training courses including the use of Pillar drills and Health & Safety procedures
• adhere to all Health and Safety rules and regulations associated with the position

Key attributes of the role are;

• proven track training record within a technical manufacturing environment
• mechanical, HVAC or Automotive background would be a distinct advantage
• knowledge of manufacturing concepts, practices and procedures
• strong Training/Facilitation background
• HR qualification or equivalent in experience
