Our client is financially one of the strongest colleges in the country and have experienced unparalleled growth in full-time student numbers since moving to their brand new campus in 2010 which boasts some of the best facilities to be found anywhere in the sector.

Success rates are very high, the best in the West Midlands and amongst the top 10% nationally. In 2014 Ofsted reported that we were a very good college with many areas of outstanding provision.

The College is currently home to a population of over 3,750 full-time students and around 350 students on higher education programmes. We have over 3,800 part-time or adult learners and 1400 apprentices where we work with around 800 individual employers.

We are seeking an experienced and versatile Curriculum Manager for a diverse, but high performing, department which will bring together Early Years, Access to HE and Teaching Training provision. Candidates should have a proven track record in the successful management and development of 16-18 provision as well as the drive and innovation to rejuvenate pathways for adults returning to learning.

We ask our Curriculum Managers to concentrate on three core areas: curriculum development, raising standards of teaching and learning and the leadership of staff. To be successful in this we believe you should have significant post-qualification teaching experience and a proven track record of motivating and leading people to achieve excellence. You should also have experience in, and be able to contribute to the teaching of one or more programme areas offered within the curriculum area.

The closing date for completed applications is Tuesday 26th May 2015 and interviews will take place on Friday 5th June.

This college is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All college based positions are subject to Enhanced DBS check and are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act.
