They now have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated Engineer at their Camborne site where you will provide effective engineering support in terms of planned maintenance, breakdown repairs and remedial works to site equipment and buildings.

As an Engineer, you will undertake planned maintenance tasks to the relevant engineering and safety standards and will carry out repairs to equipment in a safe and timely manner.  Whilst undertaking remedial engineering works to equipment or site as instructed by the Engineering Manager, you will also ensure that any risks of safety or failure of equipment or site are communicated to the Manager.

The successful candidate will possess a recognised qualification relevant to the role (e.g. Mechanical or Electrical City & Guilds) coupled with skills in both Electrical and Mechanical trades. With good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team with all levels of management and staff, you will ideally have knowledge of other engineering disciplines including pneumatics, hydraulics and steam systems, and have excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

Due to the nature of the role, it is required that candidates are flexible and able to react quickly to the needs of the business and to work unsocial hours, possibly including night shifts.

In return, they can offer you a salary of up to £29,403 per annum, 21 days holiday plus Bank Holidays and NEST contributory pension scheme
