SEN Teaching Assistant Part and Full Time

The Job:

The job is supporting students (ages 16 years upwards) with their learning, you can potentially work part time(3 or 5 full days) or full time and the hours are school based so can work around school runs potentially. The role is ongoing termporary and can prove to be a long term opportunity for those who demonstrate commitment to the role. If you want to make a difference to the lives of others this is the role for you!! You will need to have had experience of working with individuals/learners with Special Needs.

The school:

Based in Openshaw this college is constantly expanding and is situated on a large plot of land in a purpose built building to cater for the needs of the students. They currently look after 90 students, the environment is friendly and caring.

The child:

The college offer extra support for students with specific learning difficulties, such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD and Asperger's Syndrome. The college can also provide help for those with visual or hearing impairments and other physical disabilities. Students study a variety of courses and require extra help to complete their studies.
