Our client a well established travel company are looking to recruit an innovative Software Developer to join their expanding team. Reporting to the IT Director duties will include design, develop and implement software to support business systems whilst working with and improving current IT standards and procedures and to contribute to the identification and implementation of efficiencies through technology to meet business goals and objectives.
To be successful in this role you need to have the following experience:
- A degree in Software Engineering or similar
- Experience of ASP.NET (2.0/ 3.5/ 4.0/ 4.5), specifically C#
- Experience of databases, specifically SQL Server 2008
- Experience of HTML, CSS, Web Services
- Experience of Javascript and JQuery
- Knowledge of Loose coupling (E.g. MVP, MVC, MVVM)
In addition to this experience knowledge of the following would be desirable
- Microsoft certification in .NET development
- Experience of working within agile software development environments
- Experience of working within SCRUM methodology
- Knowledge of WPF/ XAML
- Knowledge of LINQ
- Knowledge of SQL Server 2012
