Procurement Manager required for a leading technology firm
You will be working with the New Business team to provide procurement support within the UK and Ireland. Working with key stakeholders, which are primarily bid teams you will drive early engagement and collaboration. You will identify potential third party risks and where appropriate compose appropriate responses to specific client questions.
Job functions include
- Solicit suppliers/solution partners for products/services through formal Requests for Services (FRS) and/or Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Conduct negotiations with suppliers to obtain product/services at the least cost/risk option.
- Identity and delivers bid specific savings opportunities.
Experience Required
- Working towards or hold MCIPS
- Strong procurement experience
- Experience in working with contracts including RFP and RFI
- Experience in IT or consultancy
