2nd Line Support Engineer

A reputed UK-based company who is growing their technical team is looking for experienced and well qualified 2nd Line Support Engineers to join its team.

Our client offers a wide range of IT Infrastructure, Networking and IT support services to a diverse client base. As a 2nd Line Support Engineer your duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing 2nd Line Support through telephone
  • Resolving and escalating technical problems according to SLA's
  • Working as part of the escalation team supporting the 1st Line of Support Engineers in resolving customer issues
  • Diagnose and resolve issues to customer satisfaction
  • Work as subject matter expert
  • Ensuring continual service improvement through the identification and implementation of solutions for

The right 2nd Line Support Engineer will have:

  • Previous experience working in a phone-based support position resolving/escalating customer issues within SLA's
  • Previous technical support experience in Windows Vista and MS Office
  • Basic knowledge of networking, Windows Server and Active Directory admin
