A rare opportunity has arisen in Lancashire to join an established and growing company as a Salesforce Developer. My client, a globally successful engineering company, is looking for a Developer to join their experienced and skilled team focusing on internal business applications developed on the Salesforce.com platform.

With Salesforce becoming a more high demand skill set, this is an exciting opportunity to allow a Software Developer with a strong background in Object Orientated software development to join a successful team and get trained on the Salesforce.com platform.

Key responsibilities:

-To develop, implement and support new functionality, changes and customisations to the CRM programme

-To communicate effectively within the development team to ensure successful code development and release

-To contribute to the successful completion of the growing number of Salesforce related projects

-To provide day-to-day support to users and re-sellers on the use of the system and software packages created in-house, optimising and refactoring existing code investigating and fix defects and other issues

-Development and support of integrations to external partners and 3rd party systems

The successful candidate will have experience working with:

-Object Orientated software development (ideally Java or .Net)

-Ability to understand wider business goals and objectives

-Excellent problem solving capabilities that can be applied to real situations

-Genuine interest in CRM/Salesforce development
