Austin Fraser are proud to be working alongside the countries market leader in the events industry, based in Central London. The client is wanting to take on a Permanent Magento Developer.

The client and I are wanting a Magento Developer to come on board to be responsible for the maintenance and development of the companies E-commerce and ticketing application systems.

The main responsibilities of the Magento Developer will be as follows:

• Working to plan and budget for future E-commerce applications projects.
• Day-to-day management of the existing E-commerce platform.
• Development and documentation of new and existing Magento based applications to support the businesses proccesses.
• Management of existing in-house developed systems
• Work within a formal structured coding standard and development methodology.
• Continuously seek ways to improve personal, team and business performance
• Develop training documentation and plans for successful project go-live.

The key skills that the client and I require from the Magento Developer are:

• Experience of PHP 5 and higher
• Strong Magento knowledge
• MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of MVC
• Experience of SVN or Git
• Unit and functional testing experience
• Minimum of 2 years experience of developing successful E-commerce applications.
