SQL DBA
The Role
A major broadcast manufacturing company are looking for a SQL DBA to work with them on designing, implementing, maintaining and performance monitoring of EDML's corporate and broadcast databases in a high availability production environment. The ideal candidate should have experience in SQL Server, SQL Queries, SSIS, SSRS, and .NET release management.

Required Experience
- Minimum of 3 years IT Experience
- Experience of .NET release management and Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS)
- Experience of supporting, administering and maintaining a Sharepoint environment
- Considerable knowledge of database administration to support multiple versions of MS SQL Server (MS SQL 2008,2008-R2,2012,2014)
- Experience of reading, writing, and tuning complex T-SQL queries, SQL scripts, procedures, functions, CTEs and triggers
- Knowledge of database schema design
- Production experience supporting clustered SQL Servers in a virtualized, high availability environment
- Experience of configuring, supporting and troubleshooting MS SQL Server failover clusters, database upsizing and database backup and recovery
- Experience of identifying database bottlenecks and resolving them utilizing the appropriate database utilities (eg SQL Server Profiler, Dynamic Management Views, Database Tuning Advisor, etc.)
- Experience creating and maintaining database maintenance plans and creating reports utilizing SSRS
- Experience of utilizing SSIS and deploying SSIS packages
- Exposure to MySQL and Oracle desirable
