Project Planning Support Officer

Our client, a leading UK Bank, is looking for a (Project Planning Support Officer). The role is based in (Edinburgh) and the purpose of the role is to assist the senior Planning officer on a variety of projects within a defined portfolio.

Essential skills/experience required:

  • Excellent MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Word skills
  • Experience working in a large transformation programme with extensive planning work within a PMO function.
  • Demonstrable experience working as a PMO Analyst within Financial Services environments working on large, complex programmes
  • Excellent understanding of PMO processes as well as solid risk and issue management skills
  • Reporting experience including pulling packs together for senior stakeholders
  • The ability to assist in the planning and monitoring of project predecessors, Successors and dependencies.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Must have worked with MS Project and have demonstrable experience of working through a project life cycle.
