Asset Management/Procurement Manager. URGENT

Global Professional Services Organisation based in Ipswich are looking for an Asset Management/
Procurement Manager.

Main responsibilities will be administration acquisition, storage, distribution, movement and disposal of ICT assets ensuring records are accurate and auditable, dealing with invoices and purchase orders, manual handling of moving ICT equipment.

Asset Experience Needed

• Assist with the procurement of IT assets when requested
• Track all agreed IT assets, their locations and owners
• Administer the Asset Management Database and the Asset Inventory
• Perform asset disposal tasks in line with corporate asset policies
• Perform periodic asset discovery and audit tasks
• Receive assets and ensure delivery to correct locations
• Consult on suggested asset changes
• Report on trends regarding assets and their usage
• Manage software licensing for products installed on or accessed from the contracted assets
• Advise on issues arising from changes in the asset population
• Provide reports and data extracts based on reasonable customer requests

Procurement Experience Needed

• Ordering of IT equipment, obtaining quotes where necessary
• Liaising with external third party suppliers of IT hardware and applications including Vendor Leasing and Licensing where applicable.
• Purchasing software licences for company and users
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• End-to-end IT procurement
• Strong contract negotiation skills
• Strong supplier management
