Role Overview

Exciting opportunities have arisen to join Steria at our UK Head Offices in Hemel Hempstead as part of our Finance Graduate Scheme. The successful candidates will spend time working in different areas of Finance with a view to developing skills & training for the CIMA qualification.

Role Responsibilities:
o Working in different areas of the Finance Department, gaining a good overall grounding in Finance
o Assist in necessary analysis in relevance to the monthly accounting, for example: monthly analysis of accounts, analysis of intragroups (balance sheet accounts, income statement), comparison of monthly budget/monthly production
o Assist in verification of Accounts Receivable
o Processing the transactions that are non-recurring and not related to Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable
o Assist in the preparation of various tax returns related to the accounts payable, for example training, fees paid, advertising, and employees on contract
o Assist with monitoring cash and current accounts for monthly validation

Essential Skills

o Degree qualified in a related field
o Strong academics including A Levels
o The desire to establish a career in finance including commitment to further study
o Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with senior stakeholders
o Strong analytical skills

Desirable Skills

The successful candidate must be willing to undergo a security clearance process.
