MI Analyst/Data Analyst - Equities, Equity Derivatives

We are managing a requirement for a highly analytical individual to join the Equities division of a major UK Market Infrastructure business as MI & Reporting Analyst within Equities Business Planning.

Overview

You would join a team of 18 and reporting into the Business Planning Manager, based in London. The team are jointly responsible for the ongoing development of the Equities and Equity Derivative operational service offering to member clients. There is tight competition in this space and it is vital that the business managers have access to accurate, easily digestible data for commercial, process and management decisions.

Responsibilities

With a dotted line to the divisional COO you would own the in depth analysis of trading data, KPIs and other reports and be responsible for producing and presenting regular PowerPoint presentations to ensure that senior management are suitably informed to make commercial and planning decisions. You will be have the opportunity to contribute to the commercial strategy of the department, liaising with senior stakeholders across the business with a view to becoming an SME on equities strategy.

Required Experience

• Degree educated (or equivalent) with experience in MI/Data analysis
• Very strong Excel (pivot tables) and PowerPoint skills
• Confident communicator, comfortable with presenting to CxO level management

Desirable Experience

• Knowledge of Cash Equities or Equity Derivatives would be beneficial, but is not essential
• Knowledge of Exchange or CCP operations would be of value
