The Company:

We are a software development house that develops, supplies and supports our leading document management software. We target at professional service providers such as Accountants, Insolvency Practitioners and Financial services. This technology is at the forefront of current trends and is proving to be extremely popular.

Due to rapid expansion we are looking to increase our current sales team.

The Business Development Manager Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leader in the Document Management sector as a New Business Manager or Account Manager

The key to this role is the ability to provide the best cost efficient and mission critical solutions for your clients and proactively sourcing new accounts as well as developing existing accounts through building long term relationships and closing deals effectively.

The solutions we provide are innovative and require a consultative approach as the business development manager will be liaising with clients from financial institutions and a range of corporate clients from multiple verticals.

Business Development Manager Key Responsibilities:

This position requires a self-motivated and driven new business hunter.

> Targets will be circa £120k-£150k GP annually
> Generate new business, using our DMS and CRM tool to pro-actively market for new prospects and suspects, identify and develop new opportunities, understand client’s need and provide them with solution.
> Maintain the highest level of quality and professionalism whist accurately qualifying prospective clients.
> Liaise with all contacts, in a professional, effective and courteous manner
> Update team members on business development / pipeline activity
> Maintain detailed and timely records and ensure best practice / highest of standards at all times
> Identify trends and suggest improvements to team processes and strategy
> Generate Quotes, Conduct Training sessions, Help in Generating Marketing Material

Business Development Manager Requirements:

- Education

The candidate should be educated to A Level or above and would preferably hold business or marketing based educational qualifications.

- Experience

All candidates MUST have at least 3 years' experience gained in this industry selling software solutions preferably EDM (Electronic Document Management) or other Document Workflow solutions

- Skills

> Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
> Have a proven track record
> Achieving £120k annual GP as a minimum
> High level of attention to detail
> A good level of Business acumen
> Computer proficiency
> Proven team player with excellent interpersonal skills
> Able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team

You may have worked in the following capacities:
SaaS Sales Executive, Software New Business Sales, Enterprise Software Sales, Sales Development Manager, SaaS Sales, Software Solution Sales.
