Flame Grill
'Flame Grill' pubs are defined by a contemporary style and an authentic pub atmosphere. The local 'Flame Grill' is the place to be. The Flame Grill menu offers consistently well-presented, quality, excellent-value food and drink offers, where tasty flame-grilled food is the specialty. Our unique Flame-Grill equipment sears on contact and locks in natural flavours - resulting in tender, moist, succulent food every time.
Role & Responsibilities
Your Key Responsibilities will be to manage the opening and closing of the kitchen, prepare, cook and present food to company specification, keep the kitchen clean, tidy and hygienic at all times, maintain accurate food ordering and stocking levels, including kitchen materials, manage all kitchen - related office administration and third-party contractors, assist in delivering financial targets set for the house, manage wastage and train and develop staff.
The Business
We officially have one large trading area, although this operates as 2 distict sides. We have an area which is attractive to families, females, diners and the grey market, and we have a side with Sports and a pool table which attracts, drinkers, younger groups, locals and sports viewers.
We benefited from a refurbishment in May/June 2014 and the pub is very modern, comfortable and tidy. We also have entertainment a couple of times a month
The Rock is just outside of the main City Centre of Cambridge, within walking distance of the train station. We are a community pub in an area with a wide mix of residence, we therefore benefit from a wide customer base.
