Payroll and Expenses Administrator

We are looking for a CIPP qualified Payroll and Expenses professional to work alongside the HR team and senior finance colleagues, they will ideally have a solid grounding of working in a service business with the understanding of UK payroll processing and management of UK expenses including accurate reimbursements. The payroll and expenses administrator individual must have a keen eye for detail be bold in decision making and have a "roll your sleeves up" approach. We have excellent processes in place in the finance function so you will have strong foundations which have been laid.

As the Payroll and Expenses Administrator you will be supporting the HR team with the auto enrolment of pensions, managing the year end P11Ds, advising the HR team on accurate processing on payroll and having a say on department and cost centres. MetaPack need someone who is able to formulise an expenses policy including tax returns in a timely and effective manner.

This Finance position is looking for an immediate starter, salary is commensurate with experience and includes a yearly 10% Bonus which makes MetaPack a great place to work.

Role:

  • As a Payroll and Expenses Administrator
  • Timely and accurate processing of payroll and expenses.
  • Detailed analysis of pay and expenses.
  • Compliance with auto enrolment and accurate relationship with Pension Provider.
  • Ensuring positive relationship and compliance with HMRC.

Requirements:

  • Payroll qualified (eg Payroll Alliance certified of CIPP Qualified) or similar professional standing (eg part qualified Accountant).
  • Experience of Sage50 payroll and Sage 200 Accounts.
  • Excellent excel and general office IT skills.
  • Excellent time management to set and meet deadlines for others and self.
  • Ability to document standard work practices
