Bike Hut Customer Service Advisor - 20 hours - Chelmsford

(Saturday, Sunday and 2 evenings)

Halfords Bike mechanics are an essential part of the success of our Bikehut business and are as passionate about bikes as they are customers. Every day will offer variety as you take responsibility for all elements of the success of the stores repair and service offer - basically helping run your own smaller business within the store. We have an immediate requirement for a Bike Mechanic. This is a varied role ideal for an enthusiastic individual who works well in a team and enjoys the demands of a busy company.

Responsibilities will include bike building, PDI, and repairs. Good IT and communication skills are essential. Working in dynamic industry we expect excellent career development opportunities for the right candidate.

The perfect candidate will have previous experience within the cycle industry, have a passion for all types of cycles, ideally, have either Cytech or NVQ Cycle Maintenance level 2 accreditation and be happy repairing and servicing all types of bikes as well as helping customers understand the benefits of cycle maintenance and servicing.

You will need to be enthusiastic, talkative and inquisitive about our products, services and the people that buy them. To do well with us, you'll need to share these qualities and be happy to work hard as part of a team that's constantly on the move.
